Good Morning!

As many of you know Native Provincials are starting this week and I would like to invite you to come and cheer on our team. This event is being held at arenas across Edmonton and this year there will be approximately 250 teams representing nearly every Indigenous community in the province.

The is in the Initiation Division and is made up of 5,6 and 7 year olds from all across Alberta. While the focus this week is on hockey our goal for the team is to have fun, build team spirit and embrace Metis culture and community. I will be behind the bench coaching, but I encourage you come down to ice level and our dressing room to say hi and meet our team. Attached you will find a picture from after one of our games last year.

A special thanks to those of you who came out to support the team last year and to our sponsors who have provided the support to make this all happen. The schedule is below and I encourage you to forward this email to anyone you think might be interested.
